About Dave Wu
Dave Wu is an Information Technology consultant with over 19 years of experience in the field. He specializes in the design, implementation, and maintenance of information technology systems for firms in the financial, healthcare, and legal sector. As the President and Chief Technology Officer of Demonstrated Tech LLC, Dave is responsible for the developing client relationships, driving growth, and formulating the technology\compliance platform for clients across multiple sectors.
Prior to starting Demonstrated Tech, he was the Director of Information Technology at the Utendahl Group. His exemplary work and professionalism are the cornerstones of his referral based consulting business. His distinctive combination of strategic insight, industry knowledge, and budget conscious utilization of technology bridges the divide between business demands, financial prudence, compliance, and technology risk management.
In 2010, he spun off the IT department of the Utendahl Group into the consulting firm Demonstrated Tech. This new venture retained the small team of IT techs that has been working together for ten years. The synergy of the small tech team enables the firm to provide a high level of service that is difficult to accomplish with larger organizational structures.
Dave has a wealth of experience designing and deploying the technology platform for numerous startup firms. He remediated the trading system for UCP to accommodate the Google Dutch Auction IPO. He managed a mobile computing unit for Chase Bank’s Y2K remediation project.
Dave holds a BA degree cum laude in economics from Brooklyn College, an Advanced Diploma in Cybersecurity from NYU, and a certificate in Artifical Intellegence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a Certified Information System Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control. He holds certifications with Bloomberg, Cisco, Crestron, HiTrust, Microsoft, and SonicWALL.
